Practice of intinction introduced is now not encouraged due to understanding of how the virus is transmitted.Passing of collection plate at the Offertory will no longer occur. You are encouraged to place your offering in the plate at the back of the church on entry or exit or consider giving electronically using the following direct deposit details: Indue Ltd Acc: 05004414 BSB: 703122 The account is in the name of - St. Matthew’s Glenroy/Hadfield with St. Linus’ Merlynston
If you are unwell, for whatever reason, it is advised you remain home to reduce risk of exposure for others
In the event of a diagnosed COVID-19 case in either church, that church will close to allow deep cleaning and also to prevent the chance of infection from surface [rather than human] contact. The closure will be temporary
If you have a family member affected, where the potential for cross infection exists, undertake self-isolation until clearance has been provided [i.e. the suspected case has been tested negative]
Where a case of COVID-19 has been confirmed and where there has been contact with that person, self isolation is a mandatory requirement.
Changes to fellowship and morning tea practices after church are being reviewed and when finalised this notice will be revised.
